Kia Ora my name is Ngaire, I am a carver located in Matamata NZ. I have been carving since 2017 after a whanau holiday around Te Wai Pounamu (NZs South Island). Exploring the ataahua west coast and talking to and learning from the many carvers in the area my passion took hold. Carving Kohatu (stone) has helped connect me with my Whanau, Whenua and Whakapapa.
